Premium cigar manufacturer CAO released a completely new cigar concept in 2014 called the Amazon Basin. The key to the blend is the Braganca tobacco used as a long-filler. The seedlings of this tobacco variety are planted a full 3 feet apart, which results in smaller tobacco yields.

The cigars have a miniature rope of tobacco entwined around the upper portion, rather than a traditional paper cigar band. Packed in a rough-hewn box, the cigars truly have a rustic appearance.
